Come join us for a casual gathering at the park to kick off the weekend! We’ll have some light refreshments and snacks. This is a great opportunity to meet other guests and enjoy the beautiful waterfront views.

As many may know, Kate and JJ are big Washington Mystics fans, and will be entering their 3rd season as season ticket holders. As it turns out, there’s a game the day before the wedding against the New York Liberty.

If you’re interested in joining, we got a VIP suite with bottomless food/drinks for $114 a person. Space is limited, so let us know ASAP if you want to join.

We will have a bus for transportation to the wedding reception following the ceremony.

Just off the Metropolitan Branch Trail. This is one of Kate and JJ’s favorite bars, sitting like an shining Inn along the Metropolitan Branch Trail, and right next to the Amtrak, MARC, and Metro train lines.

There will be no transportation following the reception, however, for those interested, Kate and JJ may be biking along the Metropolitan Branch Trail to Southwest Waterfront following the reception. The red line is also a short walk from the bar (Rhode Island Ave-Brentwood). Uber is also a popular option.
